Privacy policy

This policy explains information handled through the Dental Shortlist directory and its enquiry form. Last updated: October 3, 2026.

Do not include patient records, health information, financial account details or passwords in an enquiry.

Information you provide

The enquiry form collects your name, email address, company or practice name, website and message. Submitted enquiries are stored in the website's database with a submission timestamp. The form requires these fields to accept an enquiry; you can browse the directory without submitting one.

How enquiry information is used

Enquiry information is used to handle questions, corrections, provider submissions and buying-help requests. The application checks recent submissions from the same email address to limit repeat messages. Submitting an enquiry does not publish it as a review or listing, and the form does not automatically forward it to listed providers.

Hosting and technical information

The site uses Replit hosting and database infrastructure. Requests pass through hosting services that may process technical information such as IP addresses, browser details and request times to deliver and protect the website. Application request logs include the request method, path and response status. Hosting providers' handling of infrastructure data is also governed by their own policies.

Fonts, cookies and external websites

Pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which receives network requests from your browser. External provider links take you to websites with their own privacy policies. The directory does not include an application-level advertising tracker or require a sign-in cookie for public browsing; hosting infrastructure may have separate security and operational mechanisms.

Storage and access

Enquiries remain in the database until removed by an authorized operator. The current application does not automatically expire enquiry records. Information may be accessible to authorized project operators and the infrastructure providers needed to run the site. Avoid sending sensitive information because no online system can guarantee absolute security.

Privacy questions and requests

Use the contact form with “Privacy request” in your message to ask about access, correction or deletion of your enquiry information. Include only the details needed to identify your earlier enquiry, not identification documents or patient information. Requests may require verification and are subject to applicable legal obligations.

Policy changes

This page should be updated when the site's collection or handling of information changes. Review it before submitting information if privacy is important to your enquiry.
